Where I live and what I love about it: I live in the Riverfront and absolutely love living in an area where I can wake up and run right along the water. I also love being within walking distance to so many bars and restaurants.
Why Nemours? Nemours allows me to work in a large academic hospital with a lot of medical complexity while also having the opportunity to work with diverse and underserved populations.

Where I live and what I love about it: I live in Philadelphia and love its walkable neighborhoods, vibrant food scene, rich history, and the sense of community throughout the city. I especially enjoy exploring new restaurants, spending time outdoors, and taking advantage of everything the city has to offer.
Why Nemours? I chose Nemours for its strong commitment to family-centered care, excellent pediatric training, and collaborative learning environment. It provides an outstanding opportunity to care for children with a wide range of medical needs while growing as a Med-Peds physician..

Where I live and what I love about it: Newark, close to Bear, DE. It is quieter and yet I can still get anywhere really quickly. Plus we are really close to the train station.
Why Nemours? I am a med-peds resident and Nemours I feel like really compliments our training so well. I felt I involved MedPeds was in the categorical program as well and that was something I was looking for weighing programs.

Where I live and what I love about it: Wilmington, DE on Market Street. I personally love the small-city vibe coming from a larger city. There are many good restaurants and bars nearby that I need to try. Northern Delaware as a whole is a large suburban space with a mix of nature trails and landmarks interspersed between houses and small buildings.
Why Nemours? Nemours is an amazing free-standing Children's hospital that covers a large catchment area from DE, PA, MD, and NJ. The hospital is beautiful, the faculty and fellow residents are so supportive and great teachers, and we get the opportunity to see a wide range of medical pathologies. We also get food with every event/noon conference and free parking, which are always positive! ✌🏻

Where I live and what I love about it: I live in Wilmington, near the Riverfront area. I love being able to walk along the river after a long day and being so close to some great restaurants/bars/entertainment for my free weekends!
Why Nemours? When I interviewed, I was drawn in by the great personalities of everyone at Nemours. Everyone from residents to attendings seemed invested in their careers and in learning, and invested in creating an environment that fosters community and fulfillment.

Where I live and what I love about it: I live in Union Park Gardens which is a small neighborhood in Wilmington. I love that it has a suburban feel but is still close to lots of restaurants and the hospital.
Why Nemours? I wanted somewhere where I was going to get a wide variety of pediatric patients and have access to pediatric specialists but that also highly valued autonomy.

Why I chose Nemours: I loved all the people I interviewed with at Christiana/Nemours. In particular I was looking for a program that was a free standing children's hospital with lots of complex and transitional care. Practicing here is unique in that it is one of the only children's hospitals in the area so everyone knows and loves Nemours!

Where I live and what I love about it: I just moved to South Philly and have loved exploring the local restaurants and parks! It is a super easy commute to Nemours but I still get the fun perks of living in the city.
Why Nemours?: I came to Nemours for its fantastic Pediatric Rehab residency program (one of only 4 in the country)! As soon as I got here and started my pediatrics intern year, I immediately realized how special and welcoming Nemours is. Everyone is patient, thoughtful, and eager to learn how to best support one another. I feel so lucky to have matched here and cannot wait for the next few years!

Where I live and what I love about it: The Standard in Downtown Wilmington. Very nice building and great location - within a 10-minute drive of Nemours and with easy access to transit to the train station and Christiana.

Where I live and what I love about it: I live in Center City Philadelphia! As a foodie, there are so many amazing options and different cuisines! I love to try a new restaurant each time I eat out if I can!
Why Nemours? As a previous patient, volunteer, rotating medical student, and now resident, Nemours has always felt like home. What I value most in an institution is its culture - there is no doubt in my mind that this program will push me to be my best while also cultivating a nurturing atmosphere.

Where I live and what I love about it: I grew up in rural central PA and I love the strong sense of community and the endless backroads with beautiful scenery. I currently live in Newark, DE and have loved exploring nearby state parks and the incredible access to so many restaurants and shops.
Why Nemours? My time as a medical student at Nemours showed me the strong family atmosphere between the residents at Nemours. This is what I wanted for than anything in a residency program. Additionally, the patient population at Nemours is so diverse and pulls from such a wide area. I felt confident the training I would receive in a hospital like Nemours would be strong and complete.

The mentorship opportunities from likeminded attendings, and a true feeling of connectedness to the other residents and learners. The neurology program specifically has great opportunities in my fields of interest.
