Where I live and what I love about it: Wilmington, DE on Market Street. I personally love the small-city vibe coming from a larger city. There are many good restaurants and bars nearby that I need to try. Northern Delaware as a whole is a large suburban space with a mix of nature trails and landmarks interspersed between houses and small buildings.
Why Nemours? Nemours is an amazing free-standing Children's hospital that covers a large catchment area from DE, PA, MD, and NJ. The hospital is beautiful, the faculty and fellow residents are so supportive and great teachers, and we get the opportunity to see a wide range of medical pathologies. We also get food with every event/noon conference and free parking, which are always positive! ✌🏻

Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed finally being able to live in Philly and super excited that I got the opportunity to stay for residency!
Why Nemours?; I had the opportunity to complete a pediatric rehab rotation at Nemours at the beginning of my fourth year and truly enjoyed every part of the experience. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and created a super supportive learning environment which was exactly what I was looking for in a residency program.
